Instagram Introduces Blend as a New Way to Share Reels Among Friends
The new feature shows Reels your friends like, and hopes you like them, too.
Meet Instagram's newest feature: Instagram Blend.
The social media platform is rolling out a new Reels feature that's a feed shared between you and friends you message in the app -- whether one-on-one or a group chat. You can invite friends to a Blend in a direct message.
When you tap the Blend icon, Instagram will show you suggested Reels based on what you and your friends like -- maybe content you wouldn't see otherwise. Instagram expects to roll out new suggested Reels everyday.
Instagram began rolling out the new Reels feature on Thursday to select accounts.
